Bernard Pachoud

Prof. Peter Zachar

Peter Zachar, PhD is a Professor of Psychology and Associate Dean of the College of Sciences at Auburn University Montgomery. His research interests are centered on the history and philosophy of classification. In addition to articles and book chapters, he has co-edited seven books and authored two: Psychological Concepts and Biological Psychiatry (John Benjamins, 2000) and A Metaphysics of Psychopathology (The MIT Press, 2014).

Dr. Yann Auxéméry

Private-practice psychiatrist, an addiction specialist, an accredited research supervisor in psychology (HDR) and an aeromedical examiner. Director of the École de Psychologues Praticiens (Paris – Lyon) and lecturer at the Centre Pierre Janet of the University of Lorraine, he is Secretary General of the Société Médico-Psychologique and Associate Editor-in-Chief of the journal Annales Médico-Psychologiques. His work focuses on psychotraumatology, epistemology, psychotherapies and psycholinguistics.

Dr. Guenda Bernegger

Guenda Bernegger was born in Lugano, Switzerland. She studied philosophy (Lausanne, Berlin) and holds degrees in Medical Humanities (Insubria), Social and Community Theatre (Turin), and a PhD in Life Sciences (Lausanne). She is a senior lecturer-researcher at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), where she teaches ethics and conducts research, and Deputy Director of the Institute for Social Aesthetics & Mental Health at Sigmund Freud University Berlin. She is President of the Società filosofica della Svizzera italiana and Past President of the Swiss Philosophical Society. Her research focuses on medical anthropology, narrative medicine, and the Medical Humanities.

Tudi Gozé

Psychiatrist and philosopher, associate professor of psychiatry in Toulouse University. He is a specialist of contemporary french and german phenomenology. Laura Kipp

Laura Kipp is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, and PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology at Université Paris Cité. Her interdisciplinary work bridges developmental psychology, psychopathology, linguistics, and phenomenology. Prof. Jasmina Mallet

Jasmina Mallet, MD, PhD is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Orléans (France). Her research explores the dialogue between phenomenology, neuroscience, and clinical psychiatry, particularly in psychotic disorders and precision psychiatry. She is also co-author of the graphic novel Le monde est psy, that promotes mental health literacy and encourages dialogue between psychiatry, the humanities, and the wider public.

Prof. Jean-Arthur Micoulaud-Franchi

Jean-Arthur Micoulaud-Franchi is a psychiatrist, neurophysiologist, and sleep physician, Professor at Bordeaux University and University Hospital. His research bridges clinical neuroscience and the philosophy of psychiatry, with a particular focus on the epistemology of psychiatric and sleep disorders. He examines how the boundaries between normal and pathological are constructed, and the role of physiology, symptoms, and clinical significance in defining mental disorders. He is also involved in teaching and research in philosophy of psychiatry at Bordeaux University.

Clotilde Potez

Her research focuses on recovery, particularly in the field of somatic diseases, as well as on the experiences of healthcare professionals and carers.

Prof. Dr. med. Peter Schönknecht M.A.

Prof. Dr. med. Peter Schönknecht, M.A., is a German psychiatrist and psychotherapist with a background in philosophy. He studied both medicine and philosophy and completed his specialist training and habilitation at Heidelberg University. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at the Academic Saxon Hospital Rodewisch and leads the Outpatient Clinic for Forensic Psychiatric Research at the University Hospital Leipzig. His research focuses on forensic psychiatry, psychopathology, and neurobiology, with a unique emphasis on the intersection of psychiatry and literature, referred to as “reflective psychopathology”. He also holds the title of “Forensic Psychiatry” as a specialty designation.

Dr. Antonio Sucena Leon

Doctor Antonio Sucena Leon is a philosopher and psychologist, MD, PhD, in private practice. A mental health expert, he is a researcher at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). His research focuses primarily on the study of consciousness, exploring its intersections with psychology, philosophy, and contemporary sciences.

Anna Bergqvist

Anna Bergqvist is Reader in Philosophy at Manchester Metropolitan University and Visiting Fellow at St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford. Eisuke Sakakibara

Eisuke Sakakibara, M.D., Ph.D., graduated from the University of Tokyo in 2008 and earned his Ph.D. in 2018. He is a psychiatrist at the University of Tokyo Hospital, where he provides outpatient care, trains junior psychiatrists, and performs administrative duties.
